Outstanding LAMDA Success

We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Pate’s students with the recent LAMDA Examinations.  These qualifications are highly regarded and help students build invaluable life skills, such as clear communication, critical thinking and confidence under pressure. Students demonstrated exceptional results in both Acting and Public Speaking examinations.  The results were impressive, with a high proportion of students being awarded Distinction grades.

Twelve students in total received their certificates last week, and they should each individually be congratulated on their performances.

Year 11 student Nyo, who achieved Distinction in their Grade 6 Public Speaking said,
“Taking LAMDA Public Speaking has helped me develop my communication skills both one-to-one and in front of an audience. Every piece of advice is gold for interacting with others, and no matter how many times you are reminded to speak slower, it always helps to hear it one more time. Through LAMDA, I am eager to reach a level of speaking where – if not completely eradicated – stage fright steps aside and lets a cogent communicator step up to the podium.”
